TGIF Wonderful Week 1

So I have been back home and work for a week.  I might just say here that 8 weeks off was just Amazing and I’m so very happy recovery went so well!  Thanks again Mom and Dad xo

It was the start of a very Happy New Year, especially for a few people that I work with because it means less they have to do now I’m back LOL

Monday was fun but my oh my was I tired and bedtime was 4pm. Hey I’ve gotten better, I made it to 8pm Thursday and Friday. Oh does it count that I had to take a day off already?  Wonderful Wednesday for me meant a full day in bed to catch back up hehehe

Thank goodness that the grocery stores deliver because I still can’t carry heavy stuff.  The delivery guy was extremely nice and insisted on bringing everything up to the kitchen, usually we leave it on the landing and I take it the last 3 steps.

I took way to many stairs today but had to finally get my hair done again, it’s been 12 weeks and the grey was really showing.  So we’re back to the “heat miser” short bright red and ready for my cute and sassy headbands.  Side note, if you go to Atlantic City, head on over to Caesar’s shops, there’s a FAB $10everything store.  Watches of all kinds of bright colors, really cute hats, lots of bling, great travel pillows and these Adorable Headbands that, I’m told, lots of gals pick up to wear to “Tea Parties” in NYC.

Capping off the work week watching Neil Simons’  “Murder By Death”  LMAO!  I can’t resist same way I can’t resist…… “Brighton Beach Memoirs” or Mel Brooks’ “Young Frankenstein” and “High Anxiety” and that other movie called “Stripes,” they are just too fantastic and fun.  If you’ve not seen it, yes it’s a “spoof” and lots of corny jokes you must have a watch at least once.

Millionaire Lionel Twain invites the five most brilliant private eyes to a dinner – and    a murder. So, Sidney Wang from China, Dick Charleston from New York, Jessica Marbles from England, Milo Perrier from Belgium and Sam Diamond from San Francisco arrive at the remote castle. They are welcomed by Jamesir Bemsonmam, the blind butler. At nine, a dinner is supposed to be served. The five private eyes and their companionships are in the dining room, wondering what everything is about. Suddenly, Lionel Twain appears and lets the private eyes in on his plan: Exactly at midnight, a murder is going to take place. And he offers a million dollars to the one who can solve the murder. Then he disappears. Before long, a problem arises: The butler is found dead – and it’s long before midnight! Will the five most brilliant minds of our time be able to see through the elaborate set-up staged by a criminal mastermind?

Well, all the detectives have arrived and I’m cracking up, ‘Dick Charleston’ aka David Niven has just said, “oh isn’t that nice darling, we’re in Wang’s wing.”  LOL and the butler when asked for a Hot Chocolate has said, “I don’t think we have n’est pa only Hershey’s”  It’s an all star cast featuring Eileen Brennan, Truman Capote, James Coco, Peter Falk, Alec Guinness, Elsa Lanchester, David Niven, Peter Sellers, Maggie Smith, Nancy Walker and Estelle Winwood.

I hope your first week of 2015 has gone smooth with a bit of laughter.  Have A Fantastic Friday Night xox
